Find out more

It can sometimes be difficult to know whether children are experiencing the usual ups and downs of life or if they need some extra help. The Family Check-in is designed to identify the needs and experiences of your child and family. This helps us direct you to the information and support that’s right for you.

The Family Check-in will guide you through a series of questions about your child, what you’ve noticed about them and what might be going on in their world. You will then be given a list of recommended Families Hub pathways that match your current needs or concerns. Completing the Family Check-in takes around 8 minutes.

Families Hub pathways feature evidence-informed guidance, videos featuring health professionals and other parents sharing their experiences and learnings, and links to other reliable resources for support.

Because the pathways are online, free and offer content in short modules, you can work at your own pace and access information and support when and where you need it.

Watch the following video (2 minutes, 43 seconds) for pointers on navigating the Families Hub.
