Emerging Minds collects your personal information—including your name, contact details and training progress—primarily to manage your account and deliver our services.

Why we collect this data: We collect this information to carry out our functions under our national programs, including the National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health. If you do not provide the requested information, we may be unable to provide you with access to our digital platforms. On occasion, and only with your explicit consent or where permitted by law, we may collect sensitive health information to assist you.  

Who we share it with: We do not sell or trade your data. We may share your information with external IT or delivery service providers strictly to fulfill our contract with you. Under our funding arrangement with the Australian Government, we provide fully de-identified, statistical data to help shape future public health policies; your personal or sensitive identifying information is never shared with the government under this arrangement.  

Data flow: Your information is securely stored within network hosting infrastructure located in Australia under strict contractual data safeguards.  

Your rights: Our overarching Privacy Policy contains detailed information about how you can access or correct the data we hold about you, how you can opt-out of updates regarding new training modules, and how you can lodge a privacy complaint.
